Hi there

I found a love of writing at a young age, with an enthusiastic fifth grade teacher. With her help, I discovered that my love of the written word went beyond just reading - but involved crafting stories as well. As life became more complicated, with school and eventually work, writing has always remained my outlet for my thoughts and emotions. I didn't particularly need a word count to be happy, or even a structure. I've written poems, short stories, and even comics. Finding my fellow writers in clubs in both high school and college allowed me to find other voices. Still, it all felt somewhat forced - except for the poetry. That flowed naturally.

It wasn't until late on a Friday evening, February 20, 2021 to be exact, that the story naturally flowed out of me. What started as an off-the-cuff comment about a young woman who starts in Atlanta and is transported to a fantasy world birthed a frenzy of ideas and passion. Before I knew it, the plot was outlined, the Races were defined, the geography was created, and the politics and background were just there. Not too much later, the first draft was crafted and the rest, well, as they say, was history.
